Centre for Research and Prosperity (Centrep Ltd) is a premier Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning
(MERL) consultancy dedicated to advancing transformative development in arid and semi-arid regions of East
Africa through research and innovation. We specialize in delivering rigorous research, evaluation, and learning
services that generate actionable knowledge and insights to address systemic gaps, inform policy and
programming, and support sustainable, community-centered development pathways.

Geographical Presence

Centrep maintains a strong operational presence in Somalia and Kenya, with its main office located in Nairobi, and
field teams strategically deployed across Kenya-particularly in Northern Kenya. This established footprint enables
effective nationwide coverage and efficient field implementation.
In Somalia, Centrep is in the process of expanding its operational presence, with plans to operate at both Federal
Government level and across all Federal Member States. This includes the establishment of a main office in
Mogadishu and operational engagement within the headquarters of each Federal Member State to ensure effective
coordination and delivery.
Centrep’s strategic positioning as a research and innovation consultancy is anchored in continuous expansion of its
service portfolio and strengthening its capacity to deliver expert, demand-driven solutions across diverse
